Rotary disc filter modification project for domestic Paper Group
During the processing of the disc filter for Nine Dragons Paper Group, the processing capacity and processing effect were not up to standard. Therefore, they asked our company for repair and modification and technical support. Our company engineers conducted on-site inspection and diagnosis for these four disc filter and found that:
What problems did the customers have?
- The equipment main body drive is operating normally.
- The sectors were damaged in varying degrees. The mesh screen was damaged seriously. The effect of cake discharge system and cleaning system were not good. And the mesh screen was plugged badly.
- The connection between the sectors and the base was not reliable, and many dislocation conditions were found.
- The operating process of disc filter did not meet the requirements.
- There were problems with the control system of the disc filter.
What modifications have we made?
- The sectors were modified into non-cloth sectors, the output increased by 15% without changing the main body of equipment.
- The cake discharge equipment was replaced with the latest structure to prevent the cake discharge water run-off and spray nozzle from being blocked. The cake could be discharged smoothly. And the cake formation performance was good.
- The cleaning system equipment was replaced with the latest structure. The spray nozzle was not easily blocked, the effects of cleaning system improved greatly, the conditions of mesh screen plugging improved greatly, ensuring the stability of output and filtrate clarity.
- We modified the processing system of disc filter. The equipment operation is stable, and the technical parameters are stable.
- We modified the control system of disc filter to improve the reliability of equipment operation and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the equipment parameters.
What is the effect after the modification?
- The technical data has obviously improved after the modifications.
- The production of the disc filter increased by more than 15%.
- When the rotary disc filter was used for pulp fiber recycling, the filtrate index reached the design index.
Technical requirements: The technical data is stable and reliable. The SS level of the cloudy filtrate is less than 300 ppm. The SS level of the clear filtrate is about 120 ppm. The SS level of super-clear filtrate is about 70 ppm. And the super-clear filtrate should be suitable for low-pressure spraying for cleaning the mesh screen of filter.
- When the rotary disc filter was used for pulp concentration, the filtrate index reached the design index.
The pulp concentration reached over 12%, the filtrate index met the technical requirements, and the data was stable and reliable. All indicators were up to or over the previous indicator.
