Paper and Pulp Filtration Equipment

A vacuum created with a drop leg is used as a driving force in paper and pulp filtration equipment. In paper mills, the drop leg length is over 7 m. As the discs rotate, each individual sector is located at different intervals to filter individual fibers and fillers from the white water.

We offer two disc diameters: 3600mm and 5200mm, with a maximum filtration area of 1050 m², and the number of discs on a single piece of filtration equipment reaching up to 30. The disc filter can then be used for pulp concentration and pulp fiber recycling.

When rotary vacuum disc filters are used for pulp concentration, the pulp concentration increases from 1% to 10-15%, and the capacity of one machine reaches up to 1500 t/d.

When a rotary disc filter is used for pulp fiber recycling, the maximum amount of white water treatment of a single device can reach 3000 m²/h. The suspended solids (SS) level of the clear filtrate and super-clear filtrate separated are as low as 100 ppm and 50 ppm respectively. The clear filtrate and super-clear filtrate can then be used as spray water for mesh screens, which carries out water recycling, and reduces the amount of water required per one ton of paper. The fiber and filler recovered from the whitewater can be used for pulp fiber recycling, which also reduces production costs.
